For Science Gen Ed requirements 1 course must be completed in Life Science and 1 course in Physical Science.
Students enrolled in Early Childhood Education, Teacher Education or Paraprofessional Education programs at IVCC are required to submit, upon initial enrollment, to a background check through Accurate Biometrics.  Students will also submit to ongoing evaluations of professional and ethical disposition indicators throughout their tenure at IVCC.  Students are expected to abide by ECE and EDC handbook rules and regulations as well as IVCC Code of Conduct policy and procedures.  It is the responsibility of the student to examine school code requirements regarding certification and employment (School Code: 105 ILCS 5/21-23.9
